Iu and their fans have been on the top of my craplist for a number of years. Only got worse when they got a lucky shot at home. The obnoxious fringe came out of the woodwork in the Evansville area. I was even insulted by someone I didn't know on facebook. I had a UK profile picture and commented on a friend's nonsports related post. I told him to grow up and insult people he knew instead of a complete stranger. Next time I talked to my friend she shook her head and said he was a punk in addition to being an IU fan.

I think they are the most obnoxious fanbase as a whole that we have ever dealt with. I will be disappointed if we EVER agree to play them home-and-home again. It's either a neutral court or forget about it! Can you imagine fans from an opposing team being greeted at the door at Rupp Arena as their tickets are collected by officials telling them that if they attend the game, they can't guarantee their safety? That's exactly what happened in Bloomington before the last game. They seem to have a very exaggerated and elevated opinion of their status in the basketball royalty totem poll, and most of them don't have the year's of memory necessary to remember when they were actually relevant in the college basketball world!!!!!

I'm with you, I don't know of any fan base that is more obnoxious. I loved kicking their a$$ when we had them on our schedule. The biggest win for them in years was their last win over us. Last year they were supposed to be great and they "choked", as usual. The only time I want to play them is when we meet and beat them in the tournament!

I'm not really concerned about losing a kid that isn't overly athletic and a bit undersized who is also coming off major knee surgery. Cal will have a very good team next year and the 15 class could be epic.

Cal will have a very good team next year and the 15 class could be epic. I feel like there will probably be a late bloomer or so that will wind up in blue. I just never worry about recruiting as long as Cal is here. Any UK fan that does, has to have some masochist in them! Anybody that gets to feeling low relative to recruiting just needs to think back a few years ago, when we had to offer a kid that none of our coaches had even see play, because pretty much everybody else had already signed with somebody. We finally got out-recruited for that kid by a prep school!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to continue to enjoy the recruiting news, but mainly concentrate on watching this potentially great team in front of us develop with Cal's magic as the season goes onward towards March!! By the way (OT), glad to see that you are also a fisherman!!!!!!

I forgot to add, I thought the words "punk" and "IU fan" were synonymous !!!!
