Shaping up to be a non-typical year for UK's "draftable" entourage....
The guy that started the season on the bench as UK's third-wheel at Guard has become THE MAN on the offensive end of the court while garnering SEC MVP honors. Yet, there's nearly a peep about his draft potential. The "best" Frosh in a 5-Star studded class has slowly slipped down the list of best freshmen (according to ESPN) and is now nowhere to be found on their latest compilation. The guy that surprised many by coming back for his Sophomore year to improve his stock is in the midst of a late season swoon, hasn't (significantly) improved his offensive game and is now fighting a "bad egg" image. While it may be true that E.J. is playing his final season in Blue; it won't be because somebody is going to spend 1st round draft capital on him. The ONLY person who appears to be a safe 1st rounder, albeit probably a late 1st rounder, is Richards who started the campaign as one of the bigger question marks.
While it is a foregone conclusion that most (if not all) of the above are indeed goners, it will most certainly be interesting to see how that transpires.

Has Maxey fell out of the first round? Last I saw he was top 10-15 on the draft boards.

I hope EJ was paying attention when PJ Washington decided to come back and work at being great at what he was already pretty good at. If not, then maybe he saw what Nick Richards has done and heard him say that it's okay to be on your own timeline of development.

Yeah....I thought Maxey was still in the first round...maybe later but still there.
