There's one-dimensional then there's UK one-dimensional. Even teams like Georgia Tech and Stanford that announce they aren't going to pass have more of a pass-offense than what UK is mustering.
Give all the credit in the world to Snell & Company for being just that much better than the defenses on the other side. When the opposition knows you're going to run it and they still can't stop you, then you're something special. Give some credit to the coaches too. They weren't SO stubborn as to force a bad hand when an ugly win will suffice.
Now we get to the "however" portion of our program. The Defense has played some outstanding football. HOWEVER, if you think you'll roll into Mizzou and keep that team off the scoreboard you're dreaming. Therefore you are left w/ two choices. Give the ball to Benny 40 times, chew ground & clock making the Mizzou Offense sit on the sidelines OR balance the offense enough to score 30 and beat them the way they have been getting beat. This team isn't built to come back from a significant deficit so starting the game this Saturday like they did against Vandy and they'll be down 21-0 and in very serious trouble.
6-1 is exactly what UK is, and they've earned it. It remains to be seen if they simply embrace who they are and see how far that takes them or if they can somehow transform their attack and truly be top-10 worthy.
Go Cats.
