Congrats to Stoops & Company for bringing in another top-JUCO quarterback. I'm not sure if I'm being facitious with that comment or not, time will tell. This is twice that UK has had their "quarter back of the future" committed and couldn't hold onto him; losing one to 'Bama and now one to The-U. This is twice UK has delved into the JUCO pool for a QB; worked out pretty well w/ Johnson this year and who knows about Wilson for the future? I sincerely hope that Barker comes back strong in the Spring and fulfills that 4* promise that came with him (although the few minutes he did get on the field this year have been a disaster), and lord knows there's enough QB's on the roster that one of them should be serviceable for 2018!
UK really needs some positive vibes heading into the off-season. Hopefully a "W" against a favored Big-10 squad can give them that boost. It'll really be telling to see how the fan base decides to populate either Rupp or Nashville !

I've seen enough of Barker to know all I need to know about whether he is the answer at QB. That ship sailed quite a while ago. I've heard Terry Touchdown described as having a similar type game to RG III. I would take that in a heartbeat, but I'll also take that description with a grain of salt. Either way, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

Wilson looks exciting; the type of QB that seems to kill our defense every year. I agree with clutchcargo about Barker, but what does getting Wilson say about Hoak or Clark?

I don't think it says anything except that those 2 have never played a single down of college football. Sometimes the timing just works out to where a guy like Wilson becomes available, and you have to take him. I think Hoak and Clark have potential and might have done fine if we didn't get Wilson. But there is no way to be confident about that.
