I'm planning a trip to upstate New York and looking for anyone that knows what their is to see and do.
Anyone ever been to Cooperstown to the baseball hall of fame? I'm a big St. Louis fan so there is plenty for me to see but the wife and 10 YO granddaughter may get a little bored. Any suggestions?
Thought about Niagara Falls but if its just a bunch of water falling off a cliff I'm not sure it is worth the effort.
Flying into Syracuse and travel around the military bases and ending up in Boston. I know a few things in Boston so that part is taken care of.
No suggestions will be unappreciated. Thanks.

You could take a scenic drive north of Syracuse/Watertown and drive along the St Lawrence River getting a terrific view of Thousand Islands into Canada then loop back via the Wolfe Island ferry. I did that many years ago and had a great time. Not sure what the border officials are like these days though. They were friendly on the Canadian side and pricks on the US side back then, but we made it through unmolested. Link to the Wolfe Island ferry schedule: www.wolfeisland.com/ferry.php
