well, we won one, that we were supposed to, like we were supposed to. would love to pull out a win in these last few. i think the tenn game is going to be a good one. two not very good teams but both playing hard for new coaches trying to finish the season on a positive note. honestly, that game is going to be big for both squads. not that i'm looking past uga or vandy or mizzou. but it is what it is.

I think it will take a while to build up our football board, but we are definitely gonna make it happen.

I was at the game sat night and was disappointed in the attendance. Then we get a big lead and people leave in the middle of the third quarter..Not the way to go about supporting a young team and new staff. People gripe when we lose to really good teams and complain again when we beat teams that are not as good as us and you just can't have it both ways..This team needs our support and if we want to keep attracting good recruits we need to show up for games and stay, especially when we are winning..Yes it was chilly but dress for it before you leave home. We have all been to CWS on cold nights..

We have all been to CWS on cold nights..I think most people just have a wait and see attitude about UK football, since we have been burned so many times before. When they start winning games and being able to play the style of game that the coaches want, the fan base will jump on the bandwagon. Yes, it's sad that there has to be a bandwagon, but it is what it is. Give the casual fans something to get excited about and they will get excited. And yes, I am very pleased with the job this coaching staff has done since day 1.

We have all been to CWS on cold nights..Unfortunately, that's just the nature of UK football. We've had season tickets since I was 2 (29 now) and I'm not sure this will ever change unless we get to a top 25 level every year. Even then, I'm not entirely sure the crowd would be much better. That said, I was actually mostly happy with the attendance for a 1-6 team playing a much inferior opponent on a cold night with a little rain earlier in the day. Not saying it shouldn't be better, but was about what I expected. I have never understood leaving games as early as people do though. We haven't left a game early in over 25 years, but I understand sometimes people need to do so for one reason or another. But leaving at halftime just makes zero sense to me. Especially as bad as we've been lately, you would think people would want to stay and watch us play well and get an easy win.

All it's gonna take is for stoops to pull off a few upsets and win 8-9 games and it will be booming.

CWS was the cool place to be in Lexington in fall of '07, and we only ended up going to the Music City Bowl that year. Fans just want to have something to be excited about. Win a decent number of games, and they will flock to CWS again.
