I figured I would start this thread because I love watching this stuff. Ronda Rousey and Meisha Tate this season on TUF makes for fun tv. I missed the ppv this past weekend though.

I LOVE MMA. Absolutely love it. I probably watch 5 to 7 fights a day, everyday. Just what ever fight comes into my mind and I have tog o thru my library and dig it out to watch it. Saying that, I cannot stand to watch the Ultimate Fighter. I don't need the drama to go along with my MMA. I DVR it and fast forward to the fights and that is all I see. I haven't heard good thigns about Ronda this season though. She had a lot of fans before she coached on the show, now people who loved her are starting to get tired of the attitude and I couldn't agree more. If women must fight in the UFC, just fight. I don't need your bickering too. It seems more WWE than MMA

Yeah, I'm kind of mixed on it. I like the show because so many good fighters have come from the show in the past. Ronda does come off as a major bitch on the show.. but in all fairness Meisha does her best to get under her skin. They are both at fault.

I had a friend that was on the show a couple of years ago. He got bounced pretty quick, but it was really cool to see him on there.

Huge MMA fan, I've been watching it for a long time. I've been an Iceman fan for a long time but Chuck Liddell is done I guess. I really Like Jon Jones, I love his style.

Huge fan too of Jon Jones......Iceman was tough. Not a big fan of the ''ladies'' duking it out....just doesn't do much for me. I think GSP is a perfect example of a stud fighter.....he wins with his brains as much as his skill levels.

Not much conversation for UFC.....wish there were more.....
So here's a stab at conversation............Do you think GSP should step back or step out ??

Nothing for GSP to do but come back and lose to Big Rig. As long as GSP can afford to bow out (and he can) then he should as it's all downhill if he comes back. Hendricks is a finisher and of course Dana would like to see him win the belt by beating GSP so that maybe he can pass down that mantle of being the biggest PPV draw in the UFC, too. GSP just walks away then that will leave a sour taste in Dana's mouth thinking about all that money left on the table. He's already experienced that in failing to put Lesnar and Fedor in Texas Stadium when he had the chance. GSP is one of the classiest sports figures ever in any sport. Hate to see him go but it is time. He's got head problems that are going to be with him for life and the last thing he needs is for Hendricks to be pounding on it for 5 rounds again.
Biggest news out there to me is Bones wanting to go up and fight Cain. Didn't see that coming as that is suicide, but when you look at it as a business decision it makes sense. If Bones stays at 205 he's going to have to fight Daniel Cormier for a lot less money than he'd get to fight Cain at HW. That fight alone will make Jones so much money that he will easily be able to quit at 30 like he says he wants to do. Cormier and Cain are training partners and word is Cormier handles Cain on the mat which makes sense as Cormier is a former Olympic team captain, so why fight him when you can score the payday of a lifetime in what will be the biggest MMA fight of all time in a Bones vs Cain showdown instead? Shrewd thinking on the part of Bones if you ask me.

If Jones goes up to hw he better train hard because Cain is no pushover. If he does go up I wonder if he will lose some speed, interesting situation. Maybe he is going for the big bucks!!!

I don't think Jones hits hard enough to be a HW but that's what he says he wants to do. When you think about how much money that fight would make (assuming Jones doesn't lose before it happens) then it would easily be the biggest PPV draw and gate of all time in MMA.

I think your spot on with both comments. If I were advising GSP and his money is 'there' already....I'd say ride into the sunset on top.....I wouldn't think twice about Dana....he's made a ton off GSP already. For Bones.....I don't know what his 'normal' weight might be. I'd think he'd need to come in around 220-25 for a Cain clash at a minimum if he wanted to keep most of his speed. It's his knees, kicks, elbows = MT skills that will take him to victory not his punching power IMHO. But I think it's a good risk for the payback.....he should command a huge payday. That will be the best fight out there at the moment. I'll always hold it against Dana that he couldn't get FEDOR into the UFC.....he wasn't beautiful to watch but in his day few could have stood the test against him.
