Is not announcing today. Will on signing day. He's either playing this for all it's worth,, or is actually torn between us and Bama. Still has an official for Bama also.

This pretty much means he's going to Alabama. He's never going to be 100% sure about coming to UK like he claims he wants to be. And he spent a lot of time with Frazier (for some reason him and Barker got placed on different teams). Hate to say it but this one is done.

Does not mean he's going to Alabama. It's going to be incredibly hard to keep him instate now that Texas has hired a coach (and Saban's name is off the board) and he'll be taking an official with Alabama that he wasn't taking before. A delay isn't good for Kentucky at all. I'd be incredibly shocked if he picks Kentucky at this point, especially since I can't see him being "100% sure", and would much rather see Stoops make the push for Valentine now that he's decommitted from Miami (LSU is in the lead for him but he's set to visit campus before he makes a decision).

Unfortunate, as the exposure would've been huge. I hope he still picks Kentucky, but can't blame him if he chooses Alabama. As I've said before, it'd be like a guy deciding to stay in-state at Nebraska instead of coming to UK for b'ball.
I will say I respect that he opted to postpone the announcement because he wasn't 100% and didn't want to be a guy who commits and possibly decommits later.

Me too, KA. Talked to someone that would know a couple weeks ago. He seemed confident.

I won't feel good about the kid until he signs his NLOI. I understand that he really likes the recruiting process and that it's a tough decision. Just think he could've handled it better than he has.

Last visit is here, so maybe that will help.

It does appear that rather than experiencing major slippage, Stoops is further strengthening this class as the deadline approaches. I hope that continues to be the case and has a positive impact on Elam, as well.

really surprised. all indications point to these guys sticking to their commitments. usually everyone has one or two at least flip. but these guys seem to be a tight bunch. thank u mr drew barker. the class has continued to gain momentum as the process as gone on. with each new commit, it seems to add excitement and make these guys more sure about their loyalty to staying together.
