I know the lions share of credit is going to Baker, Herro and Travis but it was evident that Hagan's was the man on Saturday. For the 1st time in what seems like forever he actually dominated his position and was a difference maker on both ends of the court. Not to diminish the effort and clutch free-throws, Herro was not his productive-self for most of the game; UK did NOT dominate the game inside or on the boards as was the general belief going in. Nobody could score the ball for long stretches and Hagan's was a close to money (just look the other way when he launches a "3") as UK could muster.
Houston has been impressive in the tournament; I thought OSU would give them a better game than what they did. That game wasn't exactly a work of art but you never thought Houston was ever in danger of losing. A P.J.-less UK will be hard pressed to advance to Sunday.
Speaking of P.J.. I'm just not buying the cast-comes-off mid week and he's on the court Friday night scenario. Particularly in light of the "I heard a pop" injury information that was reported. Maybe, just maybe he could come back if UK is still playing 2 weekends from now.
I'm not going to be shocked if Auburn beats UNC despite how good the Heels looked yesterday. With Auburn you just never know what you'll get from day-to-day.
Duke (and UT) used up all of their luck-points yesterday.

Your comments are spot on RC...IMHO Duke sucks and surely hope your right on that point I'm going to keep dreaming the dream....but without PJ we have little to no room for poor performances if we want to advance.

Duke will NEVER use up all of their luck yesterday was a great example....no I did not watch, just saw the last few seconds on replay all Dawkins' team had to do was rebound a missed free throw.......a simple, basic basketball play but for whatever reason they did not
Between the media & the always favorable calls, Duke has nothing to worry about

I didnt want Duke to lose. If we win a championship I beg for it to be at the hands of Duke.
