That 1st half was as solid an effort as UK has made all year, particularly on the road. It was just a nice, quiet strangulation.
The 2nd half was all MSU. They fought harder and were just more active than UK. The Cats earned the victory with a just-gutty-enough final seven minutes. Big props to Herro for making a couple of just-jump-up-and-stick-it threes late in the shot clock and to Montgomery for a multitude of hustle plays. Okay, and PJ too. Disappointed in Richards, thought the match-up with Ado would be one where he could shine; nope.
It was like we played twice on Saturday with completely different outcomes. Fortunately, the only outcome that ultimately matters went our way.
Onto LSU that should be fun.....

Wasn't always pretty, that for sure. Still pretty darn proud of them for the stretch of wins they've put together.

Well, this had better be an anomaly, similar to snow in May. Stating the obvious, teams deserving of a top 5 ranking don't normally yield 15-2 runs to unranked opponents.
