After an off-season filled w/ speculation that Green might transfer comes his belated decision. I'm sure he's looking at Hagans and Quickley and not seeing much future for him wearing Blue. www.aseaofblue.com/2018/12/12/18137634/kentucky-basketball-quade-green-considering-transferWe will miss his stroke..... one of the better shooting options on this team. He has some physical limitations and decision making foibles but was generally a positive contributor (although not at the "1" where I'm sure he wanted to be). Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Quade apparently didn't have all the tools needed to generate more playing time. His 3 did improve and he made some clutch shots this year, but I think the 3 freshman show more potential and from their development pace, unless they catch fire, all would be back with Maxey coming in (and that's a good thing to have soph. experience).
Wish him the best though.

he was a turnonver machine this year....not sure his improved shooting countered the amount of turnovers....

I think his TO's were partly the result of early season/new teammates stuff; ordinary human error; and maybe trying too hard to get PT. Regardless, I personally think he was a valuable piece, but that he also made a very rational decision about his future, There was no indication that he was ever going to separate himself in a positive way from others on the roster and, instead, that it was likely to become even more difficult.

honestly don't think he had the talent to compete at the top level, too small, not quick enough, not a good passer or ball handler

Well, IIRC, the "experts" regarded the overall crop of elite PG's in 2017 as kind of thin, and with Quade ranked several spots down from the top. Regardless, I do hope things turn out well for him.

Personally, I think he gave up a little soon, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did not separate himself until the 1st few games in the SEC.
