Sometimes you just gotta shrug and move on, but some of those 2nd half shots were ridiculous. Lucky some of those incredible 3's weren't "and-1" opportunities as he ended up on the floor after swishing contested shots. Still, Calipari's reluctance to do anything DIFFERENT on defense other than "stick-a-different-man-on-him" is maddening. Quickley had some success fronting/denying him the ball, guess that was the big masterstroke. Lucky VMI didn't have anybody that weighed more than 50-lbs or this one could have put UK back in the negative headlines again.
I like Quickley and believe that Hagans will have his moments but still contend that Green should be the PG until the others figure it out. Green certainly has his issues but .....
Winthrop up for a mid-week, early afternoon affair (in front of another anemic Rupp "crowd") right before the Turkey gets stuffed. Hard to have any faith in what might be expected at this point.
