Got a chance to watch the HBO "documentary" on the NCAA "student athletes" featuring our own Nick Richards. Seemed an odd HBO presentation considering the somewhat tired subject matter but maybe that's just me. Perhaps the average HBO non-sporting viewer might have learned something from watching but I found most of the profiles focused along very established and previously presented story lines. Nick's being the most mundane of the cases presented. The Baylor football players case was interesting in the details of how it is playing out.....
All-in-all, UK came off as a neutral element not having been painted as one of the specific institutions that took advantage of these individuals; the NCAA was the depicted "bad guy" in all of it. Glad we weren't vilified and hope that the story ends well for Nick.....

Seems like a really bad idea for Nick to do that..On the other hand The "Fightn Emmerts" can't screw the BB Cats any more than they already do.
