Why do you pull Barker when he looks so much better than Towles ? Looks like more coaching problems than players

The coaching staff has lost a lot of support after that game. Indecision by the coaches filters down to the players. The last 4 games there has been no improvement with either. After the game, Shannon Dawson justified the switch back to Patrick by saying the staff wanted to “go with the hot hand.” Now what game has he been watching the last 5 games.

Looks like a different team with Barker as the QB.

I'll wait til they do it against U of L to get too excited. But hopefully this gets them pumped up to get it done next week.

I'd be interested in everyone's thoughts. I didn't get to see the game. Is the new QB gonna change the whole look on what?

Quicker release and more accurate on the short throws. Could not tell much about the long ball because of the weather conditions (very windy and snow falling 2nd half). Of course this was against one of the worst teams in the FBS, but still a 58-10 victory. It will be interesting to see if he can do this against UL next week.

I'd still like to see a much quicker tempo instead of running the play clock way down, but even that was somewhat better this time. I would expect that to improve going forward. O-line needs to keep bringing it to have a chance against Louisville. I know it was just Charlotte, but for once the team seemed to work in synch, and that was good.

Well Dawson cost us the Vandy game with his idiotic play calling and letting Towles play too much.. And then to let Towles change plays at the line when we are two yards from a TD that would have given us a win and a bowl, that is unforgivable. Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if Dawson leaves after this season..We have given the Auburn and Vandy games away..Period, plain and simple..These coaches ought to be ashamed of the way they handled most of this season. We should be playing ul to go 8-4 and chance for a good bowl like the Peach or Gator...Very sad.

First, it was a failure last wk. to recognize the complete absence of coverage on Vandy's wide receiver ["What? You mean they were allowed to put ELEVEN players out there?"] Today, we have the ball inside the 10; TWO timeouts; it's THIRD down; TWO timeouts; and it's 34 seconds to halftime. Instead of USING one of those timeouts immediately, we instead let the clock burn down to about 10 seconds before doing so. Undoubtedly, THIS led to Barker being told to be acutely aware of the time left AND to heave the ball into the seats if someone doesn't come open immediately, which is EXACTLY what he did as Badet was breaking wide open.
I hate to say this, but Stoops ISN'T a rookie head coach any more and his coordinators are VERY well paid. THIS^^^ kind of crap is amateurish and inexcusable.
