We're bleeding out right now on our "commitments," and we really can't afford ANY lackluster recruiting classes if we are to climb the SEC ladder.

I'm afraid Mark Stoops is finding out just how difficult his job is at UK. The Honeymoon is over with the recruits. They want to see results on the field as much as we UK fans (also an alumni) do. Coach Stoops had a successful 2014 recruiting class year as he could sell the promise of "hey we are the new guys at UK and we are going to turn things around". Sorry, but 5-7 just doesn't light many recruits' fire. Adding to this losing the last six games of the season didn't exactly send a "turning things around" message to the 2015 recruits. I think this upcoming season is very crucial to Stoops' recruiting future at UK. I happen to think he is a great fit at UK. Unfortunately, I'm not a recruit. I hope he can do it. I truly do.

I don't necessarily believe this is a UK thing. Kids are jumping ship left and right. UGA lost several, LSU lost a few, etc. Fact is, loyalty isn't what it used to be.

Edge Agree with you.......there is very little loyalty .......but again actions speak louder than words & the product displayed this year was pretty bad

Edge I cannot disagree with your statement. However, having 15 commitments a day before NSD is not good. I can only hope Stoops and his staff are waiting to drop a few bombs tomorrow.

Well, in reality we took in 2 VERY good classes the last 2 years and got to redshirt a bunch of them. It will hurt in the sense of looking like we backslid, recruiting wise, but in reality we have a very young team to build on and most of what we need in this class (DL, LB, etc) would redshirt anyway.
Plus, that saves us a few rides to sign some EE's from the 2016 class, which should be a monster one.

So in the end...23 signees? What are your thoughts about the class? I was working and barely got to look at the names and measurements.

Nobody will sweat the Dowell's, etc, but we could have done aloy better with the jerk from Berea and Lewis, so it is a mixed bag Surprise if Miggjns and Alvonte Bell were two completely unplanned adds to the defensive line to go with Privott Other than OT, Iverall I think we got a lot better
