I guess Cal's not just a point guard coach now, huh?

Undoubtedly, that was the winning point for him selecting the Cats. From everything I am reading the race for him was much closer than what others thought. May be the reason why some were changing their minds on the day of the committment.

Probably someone leaked that out and that's why Evan and Brian switched.

“That is where I want to be (in the NBA),” Lyles said. “Those 20 players (UK has in the NBA) just gives me more incentive to be there if I do everything I can do in my one year of college. His (Calipari’s) track record and percentage of big guys in the NBA made a difference.”
I'd say it's safe to say if Trey has a big year, he will be NBA bound...lol

I think that Trey, Marcus, Derek, Karl, and maybe Dakari will be the best front court next year, as our big boys are this year. We're now solid in the front court....not only in ability, but in character and desire, and IMHO team chemistry. It's not unreasonable to think than UK won't be able to defend # 9

I remember reading somewhere once where a recruit said they tell the media it is down to 5 (when it is really one or two) just to pull the media's chain. Of course, the result is we crazy fans get our stomachs all torn up waiting to watch the recruit put on a UK hat. LOL

Great job with the spin and great choice Lyles. That is probably the biggest reason I prefer message boards like this one. The media has a history of being duped, sensationalizing teams that are clearly not in the recruiting picture, and being outright homers all in the interest of getting hits or selling papers.
I have no sympathy for the media's taking the bait from Lyles.

I think Cal's recruiting Freight Train is going to just keep on picking up more speed (top recruits) as UK continues to win and our former players excel in the NBA. His recruiting of top talent is unmatched. Hopefully the commitment of Lyles will inspire other players to get on board for next year.

Some rumblings that UK was behind the info getting out about Louisville. Either way nicely played.

As long as Cal is at UK ,he'll be the best point guard ,the best big man,the best power forward ,the best small forward, and the best shooting guard, the best 6th man coach and have the most active players playing in the NBA !!! Yes we have the best Coach in getting players to the NBA and have the best chance of winning the Championship(#9) , (10) and so on and on!! JMHO
