I realize that WCS is starting, but I could see him and Dakari getting very close to the same amount of minutes. Dakari is such a space eater and fierce rebounder that it is gonna be hard to keep him on the bench. I could honestly see, as the season goes on, DJ might actually get more minutes. What do you guys think?

Definitely see Dakari playing equal minutes in games where the tempo slows down and its knock down drag out physical game. Which will probably be most of our games especially after Christmas.

I think Dakari will see a good chunk of minutes this year... Cal loved his energy and effort last night.
Cal said to Dakari 'that he loved his play but he was taking him out so that he could get a look at what Marcus could do'. Quite a compliment for Cal to give Dakari that explanation for a substitution when he really didn't have to say anything.
I enjoyed watching Dakari and Julius too for that matter.....take shots down low and miss....BUT muscle right in the mix...get the rebound and go back up.....maybe even more than once but never giving up. It's only the first game too.
Can't wait to see what our 2 headed monster will look like at the 5, and I think our opponents will despair when they see they can't neutralize all the options in UK's arsenal.

HAHA I can hear the coaches in the other locker rooms going ummm..... ummmm... With the new rules, the tough players and the ddmo in full force, we may break the record for free throws attempted this year.
