Was wondering if any of you have one? I do, hadn't used it for several months and just hooked it back up the other day. Man I love this thing... the PlayOn/PlayLater app on it is awesome. Works like a dvr.

No, it actually connects to the internet through your wireless router. I'll have to check on the PlayLater stuff though, it's new and I haven't tried to use that part of it with the computer off. I will try that later today and let ya know.

I don't have cable anymore - got too fed up with Time Warner and the expense and it's my only option here. I have AppleTV and watch the WatchESPN app and HBO GO through it by using a friends TWC login. I watch most other shows I care for through apps/streaming from my iPad streamed onto the TV via AirPlay and I've really found that there are very few things I'm missing.
I've heard Roku is great and have meant to look into it but don't really know what it is or what benefits are. I'll have to get on that.

Thay was my failed attempt. To get rid of comcrap. But I honesty thought it didnt have a userface I could get use to. I missed hitting channel up/down. But after looking at a few options now I might try again. I usually only watch a certain few channel and could easily find those. I also now have a antenna for local channels.

Roku is only way to go if ask me. Hulu Plus basically has all the series shows on a day after they come on cable. I went from April of this year until a week ago without dish or any cable. Is basketball time again so I fired dish back up.
