On Rupp Rafters, there is a thread that some "recruiting experts" are waivering on their prediction on Blackmon to UK. N.D. Kendrick, who I've never heard of, has changed his crystal ball prediction and predicts Blackmon to IU. A poster wrote that Kendrick tends to be highly accurate on his predictions, around 85%. Even Evan Daniels now says that IU and UK are in a 50/50 dead heat.
If we lose Blackmon, especially to IU (YUCK!) this could be disastrous for our recruiting class next year. Blackmon, I thought, was almost a "sure thing." The only reason I see that he would want to go to IU is to be THE MAN. If so, let him go to play for Clappy on a crappy team. As Cal says, UK isn't for everyone.

I posted a link in the Poll thread and it was from today from UM Hoops. According to that article and references we are sitting pretty with both. Even Greg came on the other site the other day and said we'll get both. No worries

Thanks for the link. That makes me feel MUCH BETTER! I'll still be nervous until I hear his announcement tonight. I just don't trust Crean!

ND is usually spot on with his info. He's basing his assumption on chatter he's getting from the IU and UK staff. Word out of Booker's camp though is he's saying Blackmon to UK. Guess we'll find out shortly.

I saw some saying that ND changed his pick to honor his original pick for Blackmon or something like that. I think he doesn't have a definite source for either school, so he wants to go with his first prediction. I hope he's wrong.

just wondering if Blackmon to IU doesn't have some merit to it since he and booker play same position and booker has announced for ky. they both are ranked about the same by recruiting analyst. hope Blackmon chooses UK also but a little worried

I still think he'll be a Cat despite the latest spins.

ND also switched his Kevin Looney prediction to Tennessee... Just saw where Looney picked UCLA so he missed that one.

ND apparently has seen his high percentage of hitting his prediction drop some today as the Looney kid went to UCLA. 9 pm can't get here fast enough......Want Blackmon to follow in his dad's footsteps, and if anyone can help him become a PG its Cal.

I think JB2 will pick UK but if he doesn't it wont be the end of the world for UK.

To me it would make sense for Blackmon to come here and work on his point skills. The PG position for next year will be thin (if my mind is working properly), and he could work the 1 and 2 with Ulis and Booker. If he can show versatile combo skills better than Goodwin then scouts and fans will love this guy.
