Feldhaus, or
Padgett, or
Pelphrey, or
Wiltjer, or
Bird?

If we want to think of it that way, I think we made a pretty good trade...............Wiltjer for Willis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Macy made a good point on Willis. Think he's kind of relishing not being double teamed anymore and he's going out and showing his stuff. I love the confidence.

If we want to think of it that way, I think we made a pretty good trade...............Wiltjer for Willis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep traded in Kyle Wheelchair and now have a new set of wheels. Willis might not be strong down low, but man he is fearless, he can actually move his feet and his stroke is so much quicker that old Wheelchair's stroke was. I love Kyle, I think he will have a solid 2 years at Gonzaga. He just did not fit the type of ball here. Willis fits in and goes at it hard each play.

Made me think about Larry Steele when he first arrived, but only the other old timers would remember him

Larry was deadly from the deep corner. Super quick release as well. Those were only 2 point shots then.

Willis reminded me at times of Padgett tonight with his outside shooting and fearless play. His face-up skills are going to make him tough to guard. His showing tonight should earn him some more minutes, for sure.

Hopefully Derek won't have to be kicked off the team temporarily and go mow yards for a while to reach his potential!

For those who saw him in HS and didn't have much good things to say, didn't look at his overall game. In HS, he had to play down low a lot, because of his height. Cal is using him out where he can use his talents, ball handling, passing, and shooting. Tough for people to guard a 6'9" wing. He is going to be really good, when he gets a little more strength and can combine some inside play with his already polished outside play. I want AJ really badly, but if we whiff, I feel good about Willis and probably a returning AP to handle the wing next year.
