Good game for the Cats. I like winning by 20+ Poor Bulldogs just couldn't keep up.

Most impressed with the 41% from behind the arc. It's definitely another tool to add to the box, especially when teams pack it in against us in the paint.
The FT percentage looks good, but it's in bulk from guys who typically shoot FTs well for us.

I don’t think I have ever seen so many uncalled lane violations (by the shooter) as there were in this game. I happened to notice one by a Georgia player, rewound the dvr to confirm what I saw, and then the same guy did it a couple more times throughout the game. I'm talking about stepping over the line before the ball hits the rim/net.

Assists & FT % are up, turnovers are down. Slightly outrebounded, but that can happen when you're giving up reboundeing position on the defensive board in order to block shots. The team hadf that look of understanding what they were supposed to do--and largely overpowering the opponent while getting it done.
I realize UGA isn't a top 25 team, but measuring purely the quality of our play, I believe the last two games incicate that we've turned a corner. The next test is whether that can be sustained further on the road and whether WCS--who looked better today--continues his return to his prior level of play.

I think we have played really well since the Arkansas game. That game included even tho we lost. 3pt% is goin up and defense is improving. If we control turnovers and hit free throws, we are almost unbeatable.

I think the improved 3 pt shooting is a result of the right guys taking shots in the flow of the offense. Also, I'm seeing crisper passes, which gives the shooter more time before the defender closes. Those lobs around the perimeter do nothing but milk the clock and force them into a contested shot.

The improved assists are the most important thing to me. Way too many times guys have passed around the perimeter for 25 seconds and drove the lane to either get fouled or turn it over. If they start moving the ball better, passing out of triple teams (I'm talking to YOU Julius) and creating shots for each other, the shooting percentage will go up and the turnovers will go down as they did yesterday. 16 assists, 5 if which from out point guard, means they're doing that better. That is what it means to play as a team. Hopefully they're realizing that.
