I live in Brooklyn now after spending about 8 years in Manhattan (hence the handle). Originally from Lexington, moved to CT in middle school, back to UK for college and NYC since. Always keeping an eye out for a way to make the move back down to KY.

Houston Texas. The only good thing about it is cheap housing, lots of Jobs and this years final 4 is only 4 hours away.

Thought I would start a thread to see where everyone lives, thought we might be surprised at who we might know. I will go first. Marshall County I also live in Marshall County. To b more specific, in Benton at the golf course. I am outside of Draffenville, off 68.

From Laurel County now living in Charlotte North Carolina. do you remember, right next to the original KFC, the Whitley Sunshine Coal Company? Was married to the owner's daughter. One of reasons I'm a Cat fan, if I wasn't, he'd shoot me. Dave were you from around the Corbin area? My mom's side of the family is from there. I have never lived in KY but am a UK fan because my grandfather made us all bleed blue from the time we were little.

I was born in Louisville and have bounced back and forth from one side of the river Louisville Ky. to New Albany IN. I totally agree with everything you said about the military "thabigbluenation" my granddaughter is presently serving in the Air Force . I have been a "Wildcat" fan since 1965 and have keep a a book on every game since then.

That's funny, I live in Louisville now (East Side) but I lived in Loveland for 5 years up until May of last year. I liked that little town and still miss Paxton's and The Works.

I have never lived in KY but am a UK fan because my grandfather made us all bleed blue from the time we were little. I am originally from Indianapolis (that's in Indiana) back when it was Naptown. After college at UC, was shipped to Lexington to help open Fayette Mall. Shillitos if you remember it. Met a gal working the cosmetic counter and married her. She was actually from Williamsburg but her parents moved to Corbin. Her daddy was a gun totin, take no prisoners strip miner. My only stint in Kentucky was two years working at Fayette Mall. Got to know a woman working there and she gave me her tickets to a UK game. I sat right behind the bench. The woman was Joe B. Hall's sister. I got bit watching Grevey, Connor, Flynn, that bunch. Been a Cat fan ever since.
