With Juzang's commitment the 2019/20 Roster looks like this (projected starter in CAPS):
PG = HAGANS, Quickley. SG = MAXEY. SF = WHITNEY, Brooks, Juzang, Allen. PF = MONTGOMERY, Sestina. C = RICHARDS
According to the 247 Crystal Ball, there's an 85% chance UK lands PF Jaden McDaniels. Despite recent comments from recruiting guru's I wouldn't be surprised if McDaniels continues to string along his recruitment until nearer the Draft deadline. There's also the outside chance they get Hampton and/or Blackshear but that's very dubious. Technically, both Richards and Montgomery are still in the NBA Draft pool but it isn't likely that either will opt to remain in the Draft. That doesn't eliminate the possibility that either will decide the grass is greener elsewhere; particularly in Richards case.
You can debate the likelihood of Allen being healthy enough to participate in 2019. Assuming Allen isn't going to get big minutes either due to health or conditioning that leaves three-man rotations at both Guard and PF/C positions with Juzang and Whitney being able to "swing" as necessary between SF/SG (Juzang) and SF/PF (Whitney). That a pretty healthy, if inexperienced, roster regardless of McDaniels decision. Too bad we don't have another "Bahama's Tour" to look forward to this year (as misleading as that turned out to be)........

Let's hope several if not many of the guys....especially the new studs....come in the summer and begin the ''process''.

FWIW: Crystal Ball fell 23 points today...... UK still "leading" for Jaden but down to 62%. Most recent buzz has him declaring for Washington at the deadline. Nobody really knows and that is showing.....

This kid obviously is under a lot of pressure from many directions,and according to the gurus he is unusually laid back and shuns the spotlight. I have always been leary of the kids that drag it on and on,like Precious,Watford,,etc. I mean come on, it's a huge decision but how many months,can it take ? Guess we'd have to ask the Brian Bowen family,that question.

Again FWIW;
Browsed a few Univeristy of Washington blogs just looking for anything on their side that might have a scoop on what to expect. Nothing, nada, zero and by that I don't mean there was any new report on Jaden - I mean there WAS NOTHING AT ALL on basketball, period. So, if Jaden wants to go somewhere and be out of the spotlight then UW is for him.

Personally, I think this act of him dragging this on is childish and shows his immaturity. I mean for christ sake you have 4 years to decide where you want to go. I understand waiting to see who leaves for the NBA and all of that but that is all done now. These kids contemplating "staying home" when your home school stinks is mind boggling to me. Your out of High School now. Time to grow up and be a man and make a decision. I dont want to hear all the people are pulling him in different directions talk. Your an adult now.....make a decision. Mommy and Daddy arent gonna live in each and every NBA town if that is your ultimate goal. This should be an absolute no brainer decision. The PAC 12 is the graveyard of college basketball. No one cares about it, the games are too late and all the teams suck. They will have to fight to even make the tournament. IF he cant handle the spotlight of UK and his dream is to be in the NBA then no NBA team should ever draft him. What is he gonna do, go play for UW and hide from the media for 1 more year lol? Its ridiculous. I really couldnt care less where he goes as he is more of a luxury for UK then a need at this point, but these guys that play these games are just annoying and probably need another year of high school to grow up.

I too went to the Washington rivals board today to see what they were saying. I was surprised to find that a basketball forum doesn't exist. Zilch. Nada.
Go to UW, never heard from again until NBA Draft. CatinOhio made a great point. What's the point of hiding for a year. You can't hide once you are in the league. That being said, maybe the kid loves UW too, but he should make whatever decision he wants in his heart. But we all know that's not how it usually goes.
FWIW, twitter buzz says he's already committed to Washington, but that the paperwork is still being ironed out. Whatever that means. Pretty much all the buzz is Washington now. LOL kinda ridiculous that it was pro UK just a few days ago. Makes me feel like the crystal ball doesn't mean anything as "insiders" have been flip-flopping constantly.
Having McDaniels would be nice, but Cliff Omoruyi or Makur Maker would probably be a better fit. The best case scenario if Blackshear doesn't join is getting Isaiah Todd to reclassify and join us. I think he will be the best of the bunch.

"According to Adam Zagoria, McDaniels will meet with his high school coach this week to discuss plans for making a college commitment."
LOL I mean this is downright laughable. Wouldn't you think after 4 years of playing high school basketball that you would be having this "talks" on a regular cadence? I cant even imagine the context of how this discussion would go? Other than playing close to home or that being the only D1 offer you ever get, why in the hell would any kid honestly think to himself.....Damn I really wanna play basketball at Washington hahahaha.
