Hello everyone, this is actually 4barcat jr. I know you all may have noticed Dad's disappearance from the boards as of late. Well sadly, I wish it was good news. Around Jan 7th, Dad started having generally feelings of weakness and some mild confusion. It progressed more as the day went on. Fearing the worst, and knowing his past history with strokes, we took him to the hospital. Tests didn't indicate a stroke, but further testing did reveal an aggressive form of pneumonia. While in the hospital, he had some issues with his diabetes as well. So all and all, Dad is just having a very rough time. Its safe to say he will be away from the boards for a bit while he recovers. Dad is also having to go through some intensive rehab to get him back up and able. He has a long road of recovery in front of him.
Dad wanted me to let you know what is going on with him. I am hopeful he will be back on his feet again soon. But any positive thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. And don't worry, he still bleeds blue.
Dustin (aka 4barcat jr.)

I really hate to hear your Dad is having a rough time of it. Tell him he'll be in my thoughts and prayers and to not worry about anything but getting better. I'll try to pick up posting things while he recovers and I look forward to him getting back soon. Go Big Blue.
Thanks for letting us know what is going on and keep us up to date when you get a chance.

Godspeed on the recovery! Going forward, it probably wouldn't hurt to slow down a little bit... ;-)
