Stories broke yesterday concerning the imminent Notice of Infractions from the NCAA based on the FBI-related reports. Sounds like 6 Major Colleges will be getting the happy news beginning next month. While this isn't unexpected, the NCAA acting with definitely un-NCAA quickness is extremely unusual. It appears that the NCAA is going to take the court produced information vebatum and move forward w/ little additional investigation. There's no doubt Louavull will be amongst the lucky recipients with Arizona, Kansas and LSU the other headliners. With their head coaches still in place, all of the other Colleges will probably be garnering most of the attention simply because of the possibility that a big-name coach might get caught. However, the Cards are the ones that face the bigger institutional penalties since they were already on probation before the Bowen incident. The prevailing thoughts are that the NCAA won't ever(?) use the Death-Penalty punishment again but this is the exact situation where it would be potentially applicable. Louavull has cleaned-house from top-to-bottom so there's no one left at that address to punish but that doesn't mean there won't be punishment. My guess is there'll be another round post-season bans and lost scholly's along w/ a stint on double-secret probation. In any event, almost time to (again) pop some corn, pull a cork, and settle back for some entertainment at a rivals expense. Petty-but-true. www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/at-least-six-college-basketball-programs-will-be-notified-of-major-ncaa-violations-by-this-summer/

I'm almost to the point where I look at this like I used to look at the BCS system. I'm hoping for the scenario that blows up in the NCAA's face in the worst possible and most embarrassing way, because that's the only way it's going to change.

I thik KU,and Bill Self will get the UNCheats slap on the wrist,eventually..the Federal Judge refused to put the tape incriminating Self into the trial, and the Fightn Emmerts, are only using the stuff that was entered,so they don't have to do anything, while pretending like they are investigating to get to the bottom of everything. The NCAA is filled with corruption and should themselves be investigated, but its all about money, with the $4 Mill that crooked Emmert gets annually,at the forefront. As for Zona,it likely will be another long drawn out affair, with some token wrist slap, but I think LSU will get clobbered, while Puke signing Zion, and tapes indicating he was for sale will be ignored. Who knows what Louavul will end up with, but it will not be the death penalty.

After the UNCheat fiasco there is no possible way anything the NCAA does that would embarrass them. People that are totally morally corrupt never believe they do anything wrong.
