As somebody who genuinely likes the game of football better than basketball, this is really hard to watch. 10 more games of this stuff.

I recorded it to watch later in the day, but accidentally [and mercifully] saw the score before attempting to do so. I'm no glutton for punishment and simply deleted it.
The problem, of course, is that this is year 4 and recruits have to see demonstrated improvement at some point. This just kills your credibility out there, I'm afraid.

Was embarrassing and pathetic from opening kickoff until final horn. Maybe our new offensive coaches just got a good education into SEC defenses.

After these 2 miserable displays.........can you blame these highly recruited kids for jumping ship to any powerhouse team Why would any of them want to be embarrassed week in & week out? How can Louisville be so much better? Is Petrino that superior to Stoops?

How can Louisville be so much better? Is Petrino that superior to Stoops? The answer to that is "yes"; at least from a coaching perspective. If Petrino wasn't so "damaged" at the time I thought UK shoulda' gone after him instead of Stoops. UK has only had sustained success (and I use that term only in the context of modern day UK football) with vested coaches that can develop kids, aka, Claiborne and Brooks. They did manage to catch the genie in the bottle by introducing the SEC to the Air-Raid concept but that wasn't sustainable. Personally, I hope they stick w/ Stoops for a couple more years and give him every chance to succeed. Do I expect Stoops to do so? No, but I wouldn't mind being surprised.

I'm with RC. As little progress as this program has made in wins and losses on the field, it's still in everyone's best interest for this staff to get it turned around rather than start from scratch again. I just hope Barnhart is long gone before the next football or basketball coach is hired.

At this point, can we just get a win tomorrow please? UK has way too much invested in Stoops to be looking elsewhere at this point in time. Suck up buttercup and get this ship moving in the right direction...

Wonder which QB starts next week? Not sure who they will pick , but i would go with the hot hand and stay with Stephen Johnson. Not shabby for your 1st full game (- 2 plays).

Johnson may not start against USC Jr., but he might play the majority of snaps. I don't see how you can sit the guy now.
