What an absolute joke. Not a big Matt Jones fan but I hope he takes Gottlieb to task for this one and I don't care if he risks sounding stupid in the process. He should invite Doug on his show again. Doug sure likes to play with the minds of UK fans doesn't he. He's a prick.

I never heard anything but good coming from the Harrison twins. Maybe it's because I usually just read pro-UK articles, and Rivals. But, I haven't heard anything like this. Has anyone on here heard anything like this? I do think Gottlieb is a total tool. I was so happy the day I turned on ESPN radio and he was no longer on. I always thought he was the type of guy you would punch in the face after talking to him for a few minutes.

People have taken the Harrison twins cockiness as something that will be negative with their teammates. Truth be known we've seen that kind of logic before with Noah and Florida and while he was the kind of guy you loved to hate as an opposing fan his teammates loved him.
I'm not particularly worried about it.

They are just mature beyond their age IMO. It's just seems to be all business to them, but they throw a lil fun in there with it. Randle and Johnson seem to have the same mindset. If anything I wish all kids their age held themselves to a higher standard. I know I like to work with people like this, so I doubt it causes problems with teammates.

He's trolling us and trying to get all of us UK fans to acknowledge his ineptitude! Ignore him and he will get less hits and then hopefully relieved of his analyst duties! I still remember last year during the tourney, when he was on the set with Barkley and Kenny Smith. I have never seen those 2 more annoyed in my life with the lack of B-Ball knowledge that ole Dougie possessed.

I agree totally......what makes a commercial - that you remember it (good or bad)....somewhat in that vein Dougie doesn't care about what he says as long as he can get ''hits''. Talk bad about anything UK and you get ''hit'' and often hard. \ So I too would urge the Scratchers to ignore him and he'll eventually sink to the obscurity his dopey comments drag him. I like the seriousness of the Twins and so far can see only better times as everyone gets use to everyone. |

No offense, but that's like comparing a quarterhose to a burro--- and I'm speaking irrespective of the enunciated political leanings of either man. One has a significant education, the other does not. One has significant, occupational experience in the field of which he speaks, while the other has none whatsoever. One's held significant positions of responsibility respecting actual news reporting, while the other hasn't. |
