Hey Scratchers, I am going to unpublish my book entitled Buck vs. the Bulldog Ants in a week or so. Going to add some transition verbage between each of the four parts of the book, have it re-edited, and publish it in hardback when done. So, I have made it a freebie until I take it down. You can find it at www.smashwords.com. Search for the book title or my name, it's an easy download that takes a second or two. There are a number of grammatical errors in it. Sorry 'bout dat, one of the reasons I'm polishing it up. Link straight to my page: www.smashwords.com/books/view/353964Incidentally, in midstream writing a new book......one which is set in Kentucky. It's a long way from being done, but a sample can be sent to you via email if you're interested. The gist is a recluse, a Jesus look-a-like, living in the Daniel Boone National Forest, develops an elixir which proves to be effective against all types of maladies. Once he's discovered, he becomes controversial, and then society becomes polarized about him. Some love him, some hate him for who he appears to be. If you're interested, reply with an email in this thread or send me a private message and I'll send you the first five chapters. (out of 16 written so far). Let me know if you like it.

Dave, When will it be out in hardback and where can I find it? I really enjoyed it and wouldn't mind getting a copy so my granddaughter can read it in a few years.
I already have the first part of your new book and its been killing me not to ask you about it until the season was over. It's unfolding really well and looks to be another great story. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. I just sent the whole second book (that I've written so far except for the beginning of chapter 16). I couldn't remember your email address so I picked one out of my sent file. I think it is you I sent it to, if your email starts out with js. To me the book is just about ready to get pretty interesting. I am going slow on it since I need to keep it in line with biblical understandings. Doing a ton of research. Hope you enjoy it.

That is me and I received it and am looking forward to getting back to it. I'll reread it from the beginning so I don't miss anything.
Do you know when Buck vs. the Bulldog Ants will be published in hardback? Thanks for the updated book.

Buck probably won't be available in hard cover for quite a while, say by the Fall. Editing is a long, arduous process, then the submission to the publisher takes time for tweaking they will insist upon. Six months, maybe?
